A song that I was privileged to compose (in English, and that was translated in culmination of the precious initiative) for the UAE Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence. It was an absolute delight working with these enthusiastic children studying in schools in the UAE. Many thanks to my dear friend Yasser AlGargawi who trusted me with this esteemed project. In all sincerity it took me just a few minutes to compose the song.

With VIP Witness on Day 500, Mr. Yasser AlGargawi, Director of Cultural Events, Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, Government of Dubai, now Director of Partnership in the UAE Ministry of Tolerance & Coexistence. The song for the day "This Blessed Land" was written based on his theme suggestion.

Rijin was studying at SAE Chennai when we got acquainted at Kafeoke (he was keen on taking singing lessons). 11 years later he interviews me on the 1000 Songs In 1000 Days and A Children's Song A Day challenge as an RJ with his beautiful colleague Meera. The Tamil feature film directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, a psychological thriller featuring Swapna Abraham in the lead with Veera Bahu and Sameera Reddy, a film without background music, was no small pill to swallow.

The musical directed by the late Mithran Devanesan, choreographed by Jeffrey Vardon, with music by Timothy Madhukar and produced by Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, that took Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore by storm - drama, music and dance at its hilt, not to forget, the heartwarming songs of Abba, featuring Swapna Abraham in the lead as Donna will always be remembered as the winner that took it all.
